A quick look at the stages currently being run on the first morning of competition of Cairns-based event from Dodge Viper ace Jason White.

White: It’s quite a long stage (TS 2 Gillies Range at almost 20km) and the first big test. There is quite a climb and it looks like it will be an exciting ride. I think the longest straight is about 100m so the navigators will need to make sure they are on top of the notes. The reverse of Gillies will be a bit more of a test on brakes being a reasonably steep downhill stage.
