Beables take start to finish win in GT Sports Trophy

Victorians Jeff and Nerida Beable have dominated the Budget GT Sports Trophy class in Targa Tasmania, winning by a margin of six minutes and 22 seconds in their Nissan Skyline GTR.

The husband and wife pairing led from start to finish in a superb display of teamwork.

Second place went to Jordan and Debbie Bridge in a Subaru WRX STI, one minute and 17 seconds ahead of the Lotus Exige S V6 of Martin Duursma and Richard Wodhams, which claimed the final position on the GT Sports Trophy podium.

Adam Gosling and Ian Noble claimed fourth place in a BMW E87 130i, followed by Rob Oshlack and Neysa Ellison in a Ford Focus RS Mark II in fifth as the major placings remained unchanged over the final day’s six stages.
